The Day I Realized My Heart Had a Soundtrack

The plane hadn’t even taken off yet, but I was already somewhere else.

I had my window seat. My playlist. My silence.
Somewhere between Rema’s voice and the engine’s hum, I felt it that weightless ache that only comes with leaving.

They say music is universal, but on that flight, it was personal.
Because every song knew something about me I hadn’t said out loud.

What if every trip had a soundtrack?
